What does Hopeline International have to offer
Christian churches and organizations?

 

  1. We can prepare leaders for their church or organization.

    Our training takes only 6-12 months and not years. You will know that their leader will be back in 6 months with SMM Option 1 and can continue full certification while ministering from their church/organization while with SMM Options 2 & 3 they will never have to leave. After 6-12 months the Level 1 certified leaders will be able to get involved in ministry right away.

    Although Bible College is a very good thing, an extended time away for training in a 3 to 4 year degree is one reason that Christian churches and organizations loose their best leaders, even when they fully intended to come back. This kind of education may not be necessary for a lot of Christians. Many churches and organizations have lost many good leaders for this reason.

    If the Level 1 SMM Option 1 leader was sent to us by a church or organization and had intended to go back but wants to stay at the HI campus for ministry we will first counsel between the church/organization, the Level 1 leader and HI before allowing them to stay at HI. The church/organization must first agree to and believe that it is of Go for them to stay before they will be allowed to stay. Our first desire is to honour God through honouring churches and organizations that are His. If SMM Options 2 or 3 are chosen then the certified leader will remain with the church or organization until God calls them to go somewhere else.

    The church or organization will know that their leaders will have a firm foundation, encouragement and accountability to maintain their minimum spiritual and moral disciplines.

    They will know when their leaders have stopped maintaining their spiritual and moral disciplines. If they have stopped maintaining their spiritual or moral disciplines we will work with them to get back on track before decertification happens. If they are not able to maintain certification for another reason the church/organization will also know after investigation and counseling why they have lost certification. In either case we will have been working with superior leaders in the process to do the best for the HI certified person involved.  

    The HI certified person will have opportunities to come back to HI and be refreshed when needed.


  2. HI leaders will be trained to raise support.

    The Hopeline International SMM student will be trained in raising support. It is getting harder for churches and organizations to hire leaders because of finances. A HI certified leader will know how to raise support and can get more help after being certified. They may even have some support raised by time they are Level 1 certified.  This will give time for the certified leader to prove themselves or maybe time is needed to raise the finances before being paid by the church/organization. Churches and organizations are caught is a catch 22 problem. They need money to hire someone and they need someone to help them grow and have more money come in. What ever the situation is we hope to help churches/organizations get more qualified help to fulfill the “Great Commission” in whatever area they are in. The more fulltime help the better.


  3. We can certify current missionaries and ministers.

    By certifiing current missiononaries and ministers we can be a source of encouragement for their spiritual and moral disciplines by helping them to cultivate their relationship with Christ and others. They will have the ability to come to Hopeline International campus (we can not do this for everyone because of our limited space) for refreshing or training, they will have contact with HI certified leaders for encouragement and support, be encouraged regularly to maintain their spiritual disciplines as needed.

    The newly certified missionaries and ministers they will be able to be put on a list for staff and student missions trips to reach out to their community. They will be treated like any other HI certified leader that went through the SMM because of their previous service to Christ.

    We know that there is a difference between the SMM graduate and the current missionary or minister in that we will need to build a trusting relationship that will take time to established. Our goal for current missionaries and ministers is the same as for everyone “to Encourage, Equip and  Mobilize Christians to fulfill the ‘Great Commission’ Locally and Globally” and to support them like anyone else.


  4. The church/organization may not have their own training program or facility.

    Independent churches/organizations that are not part of a denomination or larger organization may have not any real options to send their future leaders for training. We are a great option, and they will know that they will get their leader back and ready to go ASAP. We can also bring a big school teaching and experience to your church or organization.


  5. Leaders will be qualified for missions and ministry.

    We are not a Bible College focusing on *theology but on spiritual and moral disciplines. Therefore our HI leaders will have the right stuff to lead as part of any church or organization. We will leave it up to you to teach the *theology of your church or organization while on the job after they get back (if they do not already know).

    Hi is *inter-denominational. Students, staff or speakers can come from any denomination or independent church or organization as long as they have a true Christian relationship with Jesus Christ.

    Because our students and staff live in a close community together and come from a variety of churches and organizations (SMM Option 1) with different beliefs (non-essential) and cultures our certified missionaries and minister will have learned to love one another no matter what their differences are. This will have prepared them for ministering in the real world, especially on the mission field. SMM Options 2 or 3 students are totally under your theological authority.

    When HI leaders go back to their churches or are attending a church based school they will be prepared to run local and global outreaches. They will even be on a preferred list to receive outreach teams to help with individual projects that the HI leader wants to in the community where they minister or want to minister.

    Although they are not allowed to counsel others while at the SMM Discipleship Phase they will have learned by their own experiences and training while in class (they will participate in some counseling in class while supervised).

    All certified HI leaders learn to understand the purpose of and need for leadership and authority. They will learn God's structure of leadership and authority, to listen to and submit to authority. They will learn the need to follow before God will let them be a good leader of others .They will also learn that there are times of godly non-submission if the authority figure asks them to do things that is wrong or anti-Christian. Christians are to have discernment of when not to submit. However they may have to accept the consequences of non-submission to government or organizational authority.

    *It is impossible for some theology not to be taught in our individual classes as theology is mixed into every part of or lives. With our staff and speakers coming from a diversified range of theological backgrounds we will have leave it up to the individual disciples to discern what they and their individual church or organization believe is right or wrong (either during the SMM or back home). Our staff and speakers are willing to discuss these subject matters after class as long as it is done with an attitude of love and kindness and with a continued mutual respect of one another, no matter what the outcome is. However, we can guarantee that all staff and speakers are truly saved Christians through Christs death on the cross. We also know that this diversity of theology does help with the disciples spiritual and moral development as they have to work through the issues in their own character.
